The music created a lively atmosphere, but I felt it was a bit too loud and had some micro-tonal chords that didn't quite agree with my brain, and I really had to turn off the music. On the positive side, the graphics were visually appealing, and the animations added a nice touch of variety - crouching, wall sliding, etc. The ambitious level design and inclusion of boss battles were impressive features that added depth to the game. Overall, there's a great sense of polish throughout! Nice work!

The music was made in Bosca Ceoil, which I hadn't used in a very long time so i cant remember if there was a volume control option.
I hadn't written much music before this, and I think it shows in the boss theme especially since it was the first one I did for the game, I'm not entirely happy with that one and I can tell what you mean with the micro-tonal chords. Very sorry about that, but I'm glad it didn't stop you from having a good time with the game!
I'll see if I can fix the volume issue in a future update (and maybe try recreating the music because I forgot to save the files)

Not me walking left right away, but the option to take a nap was a nice touch. Big fan of the art and the parallax backgrounds. Agree with others that the boss was a bit easy. This was pretty polished, nice work!

Yeah, I'm not fully happy with the boss, It's hard to get a good balance with the random intervals for when the boss shoots which makes it neither too easy nor too hard.
I'll see if I can fix the boss in an update. Thanks for the feedback!

I enjoyed it quite a bit!

The level design and the platforming was spot on, except for maybe one too many pitfalls. The boss fights are a bit too easy though? I mean, I just spammed them dead.

The audio was good and appropriate, but it's a bit loud.

Overall, I can see that you really took your time with it, and it shows in the level of polish the game has.

Yeah, I'm not entirely happy with how the boss fight goes (considering there's a bug where the boss won't jump properly which is why it stands in place)
I have it shoot at random intervals but I found in testing that if the intervals are too short you get very few chances to hit the boss, and you're more likely to die too quickly without some sort of indication of when the boss will fire.
I will be working on fixing that in an update with some other bug fixes like the lack of jumping from the boss.

Thanks for the feedback!

I really enjoy it

This was a lot of fun! It reminds me of NES and Sega games. Only thing I would change is shooting with Z or X instead of the right mouse button.

The movement feels very satisfying, which to me is the most important thing about a platformer and the game also looks great. I would have appreciated some kind of a checkpoint system, because at some point the game crashed on me and I didn't want to play it all over again. Overall, gerat job!
