Great idea and execution! I particularly love the fire spreading mechanics and animations, and the items on the background taking fire is really a nice touch.

It gets difficult pretty fast, but its quite manageble for the most of it: I would have removed the timer if you wanted to focus more on the combat with the policeman, but I can see it adds an element of urgency to the game that otherwise would be there. Another suggestion I have is that I you could make the enemies take damage from the fire: this way one could decide where to let the fire spread in order to kill them while balancing the need to put it out after.

But I’m rambling, overall it was really fun! Keep it up!

I really liked the concept of 2 different characters :) and the artwork is awesome! I found it was a bit hard to use the hose as the flying control as well as put the fire out, since if I was pointing down I'd always start flying and it takes a while to land, and the fire could get really out of control. Maybe that was intentional though to make it harder - I got the hang of it eventually and it was a good challenge. Great job!

I like the concept, however I find the hose can be a little finnicky. It doesn't seem super obvious what is being extinguished and by how much, but also it launching you can interfere with putting out the flames. Having both is really cool, with more time I think they would fit better as separate actions. All that in mind, I think there's solid bones for a game here, and a little work could turn this into something really fun.

I played it again and that really does smooth out the feel a lot! Having it only push you when you're in the air is a really nice way to balance it with its usability for putting out the fires!
