I'm kinda impressed with how balanced this is as a tower defense game especially considering it was under a major time constraint. The game was polished and the art style was solid, I really enjoyed it. Only thing for me is that the shooting is slow and doesn't make for very exciting and tense gameplay but more relaxing. Nonetheless, congrats on your game!

Thanks!   I really wanted to add more feel to it. But really was out of time. Glad you liked it. ^_^

I really dug the enemy sprite evolution in Electric Citadel—super cool spritework all around! The card-based tower selection added a fresh twist to the classic tower defense setup, though I wish there were more variety in the card options to spice up the strategy. Understandable, though, given the time crunch of game jams. While the game nailed the theme, I didn’t notice much use of the limitation. Still, it kept me hooked until wave 19, when enemies stopped spawning. Overall, Electric Citadel shows promise and creativity within the jam’s constraints.

This was a fun tower defense game. The pixel art is great and it's satisfying watching your turrets destroy the bugs! I didn't fully understand how the energy system worked, or why I would want the towers that boost energy. Nice work, this was fun. I made it to wave 9 on my best run.

Hi there thanks a ton<3 for your word glad you liked it.Really means a lot.

How power system actually works: Well, we originally planned to put 10 turrets in the game. And the game will give you a random turret card means you can get a god tier turret on wave 1 which consume huge power. You can place it and hope getting a power generator card that can run this turret and all others after clearing next wave. Or you can choose power generator/wall instead of the god tier turret. Hope that makes sense. Sadly we didn't have much to add power consuming/generating text on the reward card.
