Seems like a good game but I got stuck in a little hole whilst shrunk and couldn't jump out of it or die. Nice job though!
Definitely some soft lock areas to iron out haha. Thank you for trying it out! :D
This is a very interesting game. The world is huge from what I’ve saw so far. GG!
Thank you!!
Super interesting game; the map, the art, the platforming. Really fun! :)
Glad you enjoyed! :D
Very well designed, I love how you provide instructions and guidance. I'm not good at platformers but the way you did it helped me a lot to enjoy the experience!
Thanks! I'm terrible at platformers, so I definitely wanted to squeeze in that quick tutorial, glad it helped! :)
Very nice game, i liked the gameplay but got a bit lost at times, i also though the water made you invisible as it takes a while for you to die.
Level design is definitely a learning curve I'm going through haha. I'll be sure to add the death and respawn improvements to the fixes, thank you! :D
The world building is solid and the map is quite large, I liked exploring and finding next bits of dialogue. The level design used tye miniaturization mechanic quite well!
Glad you enjoyed! :)
Impressive work! I've got somewhat lost a few times, but managed to finish the game in the end.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere, both the opressive music and the overall vagueness of visuals/story. Character movement felt quite solid, and the tutorial part was very well done!
Feedback regarding rough edges:
- Respawn timer is very long? When I first died, I though the "dark water" just makes you invisible, because you were still alive and could keep moving for a few seconds. You can also "die" multiple times, thus extending respawn timer.
- The character could really use coyote time for the first jump. Without it, the second jump can act as coyote jump, which gives the impression that double-jump sometimes bugs out and stops working.
Thank you! Definitely could do with tightening, and coyote time is definitely something high on my list of fixes (once I learn how to get it working haha). Appreciate the feedback!
a really great game made in under just 3 days. The movement, especially the dash, gave me feel of Hollow Knight. I also liked the level design. Looking forward for this one.
Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it :D
great art
<3
I love your game. So fun, so creepy. I wasn't able to complete it, I think I must have missed a key somewhere because I got to an area with a lock and I couldn't find a key and I couldn't backtrack. But really impressive for just 72 hours.
Thanks!! I'd love to go back and spend some time rearranging the levels into bit of a better feel for sure, but I'm very glad you had fun :)
great art also loved the idea of changing the player size to parkour around bur i kept getting stuck
Thank you! The level design definitely was a bit rushed, but glad you enjoyed the mechanics :)
I managed to get stuck by falling into a hole I couldn't jump out of while shrunk, an option somewhere to reset to the last checkpoint would help, ideally along with making it clearer where the checkpoints are. What I saw of it looked great and played very smoothly, good job!
A checkpoint revert definitely would be a great addition. Will make sure to get that added in, there's a couple of spots I realised after posting that get you soft locked. Thank you for the kind words!
