The main character is a small man living on a lonely island in an aquarium. He is as small as he can be able to fight and defend against the fish horde.

yea, the auto aim bugged around and i wanted to add an option to deactivate it. but sadly there wasnt enough time anymore. when the jam is over i will probably do a small update ;)
I love the art style.
Can't we direct our gun? I tried it with the mouse but it didn't work, and I couldn't do anything with the space and enter keys either.

the gun has auto aim. after the jam i will probably add the use of mouse to aim (or only keys). the function is there in theory, but the auto aim overwrites it.
you couldnt use space or enter to select an option in the menu and/or a power up in game? i will check on this, thx for the hint. my guess is, maybe u clicked somewhere with the mouse and the menu lost its focus (didnt think of that til now :D)
Fun game! I really like the sprite art. The gun seemed a little out of place, but everything else looked great together.

haha, yes the water gun is a prototype - never intended it to be the only weapon^^
I clicked for the cover art alone, so cool! I love the art style and I think overall the game is simple but fun and easy enough to grasp. At first I thought (even though it states that the gun fires automatically) that I had to aim the gun with the mouse and thought that it was glitching out on me. It feels like it moves erratically because it aims at fish we don't see on the screen yet. Maybe if the camera was just a bit more zoomed out so we could see the incoming fish that would help?
I almost made it to 2 minutes but then I was surrounded by a bunch of giant fish (which was funny) but also felt like there was no way I could have avoided them being how slow I swim, again maybe if I could see them incoming a bit better I could have avoided them?

the auto aim technically overwrites the user aim when an enemy spawns. that must be the weird feeling u got in the beginning :D i will probably add a small update after the jam to have an option to deactivate auto aim. auto aim is also buggy^^
the giant wave was originally designed to not be winable, but with some luck and knowledge which power ups op, it is possible. but you're right, a lil bit more field of view would be better
