The game felt a little too easy (could just hold F and spam the rolling pin to easily defeat all the vegetables) and the movement felt a little unpolished/like the levels didn't really fit the movement (if you have a high jump, make the jumps the player must make high, if you have a short jump make the jumps the player must make short, fast movement = more space, slower movement = less space, etc.) and while that's not an exact blueprint I think its generally a good rule of thumb to make the distances the player must travel match the movement well.

I will say, however, I liked the story a lot and it was still a very enjoyable playthrough going through and trying to find all the different endings, great game!!

Great points and advice.  Thank you for playing and commenting!!!

Pretty nice, the knockback on the "pineapple grandma" felt really good. Regarding the AI art, I don't think it is necessarily bad to use it if you don't have artistic knowledge yet, but knowing about some art basics will get you far. In this case, the background is too detailed and has a lot of contrast, which takes away the attention from the player character and the mobs.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, completely agree about the background. Stronger every day :D Thank you for playing!!

Absolute fever dream, I love it xD

Developer

That was our goal!! :D Thank you for playing!!

The game idea is good ,but the art looks A LOT AI GENERATED ,and yeah my eyes hurt after I played the game! xD

Developer

Yeah, sorry about that. We're 3 programmers with zero artistic skill between us. It was either that or atari quality squares.

squares >>>>>>>>>> AI in my opinion ,I rly like avoiding ai stuff because it looks just terrible with AI ,to be honest squares would've  been better :O I hope next time you don't use AI and learn art yourself/find an artist :>

Developer

Totally fair. I'm really hoping we can grow in the art department for our next jam too. :D Thanks for playing!!! (And sorry for your eyes lol)
