Use of the limitation
Without giving too much away, the player has to travel to a mysterious castle to find his sister. However, on the way there he finds not everything is as it seems...

i like the combat the sword attack was cool. I couldn't go through the portal but the game up to there was fun

Great work! The sword combo was an awesome touch, and the distant parallax background helped set the mood. As was mentioned below, I was able to walk out of the game at a few spots at the far points of levels, however an invisible wall (or an actual one) would easily sort that out.

The combat, especially the combo attacks with the sword felt really good! I'm not sure if I made it to the end but i destroyed the portal and then walked out of the world

There is more but it wasn't clear you could use the big portal by pressing E, I think I needed to signpost that. Kind of like in your game the branches always pointed you where to go. There is a boss fight beyond that so feel free to explore more if you want :P
