How heavy are those tires???
We filled those up with concrete before uploading the game so they actually work as an obstacle. Thank you for playing!
Impressive to make a racing game in three days. The retro vibes are strong too, reminds me of some games I played as a kid in the mid-2000s. Nice mechanic!
Thank you for the comment! It means a lot to us and we are glad you liked it :)!
Love the concept, very cool idea to flip between realities. Ran into bugs when reseting where I faced the wrong direction and if you flip and are inside an obstacle ran into issues, but see tons of potential if this project is continued. Can't blame those bugs since it's such a small time frame to work on it but wanted to call it out if this project continues. Love the retro art style too. Very cool project to be done in a weekend.
Hey, thank you for all the feedback! It was hard getting all of the mechanics to work in just the three days but I'm glad it turned out this way. :)
The dev work on this is amazing, I see so much potential troubles. And the global retro style of the game is great too. Good job
Thank you for the kind words! We mostly struggled with getting the WebGL version up and running as those are always troublesome with more advanced projects.
The dimension swapping was so much fun, and I really enjoyed the drifting as well!
The tire tracks really added a lot to the drifting, I think. Thank you for playing!
I loved the use of the limitation in this game, great job!
Thank you!
Enjoyed it, Great work!
Thank you
The driving feels a bit stiff, losing all momentum on every collision is rough, but it's still impressive for a 3 day project. The art style is also fantastic, music is great and controller support is much appreciated.
Hey, thank you for playing! It was definitely a struggle getting the collisions to feel somewhat alright. It was also really important for us to fully implement the controller for driving, as that usually feels a lot better than keyboard.
Sick mechanic with the dimension flipping, and the visual effects were awesome. Good work!Thank you so much for playing! We originally wanted to also add an on-screen effect for when you swap realities, but didn´t manage to implement all the post-processing in time.
I love the art style in this game! Switching dimensions to avoid obstacles felt really cool!
Thank you for the comment! As it was my first time working on pixel art im glad it turned out well :).
