This was so much fun to play! I enjoyed scanning for the homework, and I thought the difficulty was nicely balanced. Great job!

Developer

Thank you! I was curious how others would feel about the difficulty so I appreciate the feedback!

I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY !!!
i finished the day while the gameover screen was being displayed. i got both screens to showup... WHY AM I FIRED !!! xD

otherwise, there's a big bug with the pickup progress bar, if you release the bar does not reset so it's desync.
also i'd like to know, where the music come from?

Good game ;D

I greatly appreciate the feedback! Unfortunately, I didn't run into this issue during testing and I didn't think both screens would appear at once lol. I suppose technically depending on if you finish right as or right before the timer reaches zero you're either just barely "too late," or just barely early enough but I'll have to look at that and fix it. And I'll have to double check but the idea was that if you release the bar before it fills completely, the value it's at should stay the same until you finish the action.

As for the music, GDevelop, the game engine I used, comes with a library of sound effects and copyright free music, so I browsed their library until I found music that fit the levels!

And thanks!

To reproduce this bug, stay near the last item to pickup and when you know the time is gonna drop to 0, start picking up the last item.

Got it, I'll look into fixing it when I have the time. Thanks!

Fun game, a little Where's Waldo esque, well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I'll gladly accept a Where's Waldo comparison, it's a classic.

I think collecting a piece could offer a small time bonus so that if you finally located the paper you have a boosted chance to go collect the final one. Neat concept though, well done.

Good idea! I had some difficulty determining how long the player should have since I already knew where all the pieces were and only had enough time for one play-tester. But I appreciate the feedback and will look into it.  Thanks!
