Awesome sound effects, really impressive that they were all made from real objects! Fun concept

An creative design that catches the eye

Neat idea - having to swap between typing and blocking made it really engaging. I've not played a typing game like that before but it was very fun. Nice job!

Developer

thanks for playing! The game was inspired by a game called the typing of the dead, with the twist of switching between keyboard and mouse.

Seems like we both had an idea around typing spells but its cool to see how different it still it. One small issue I had on my end is that I use an AZERTY keyboard and the key are only registering QWERTY.

Developer

I completely forgot about keyboard layouts, but it is hard to focus on accessibility when you only have 3 days.

Loved this, great sound effects too! Props for recording them yourself!

Loved this. It's interesting how you (as a player) are forced to choose between letting go of your mouse to type faster, or trying to get the work done with one hand only while the other controls the shield.

Overall super enjoyable. However the sprites and font are a little small in my opinion. I feel like the game would play smoother if the enemies traveled a bit slower but the camera was more zoomed in, so as to immediately see each word and having the screen relatively "filled" with action.

Developer

thanks for the feedback! But if i zoomed the camera in, the player would have less time to react to type words, and i wanted the effect of enemies zooming quick towards the player.

This would be a fun way to learn to type.
