I think it is a pretty neat idea.  Really makes use of the limitation I feel.  I found it a little confusing to move around as I have never played anything like this before

I feel like this would work better if it wasn't taking place in real time. As it is now, the game just feels like an action game with bad controls, but if you made it so you could see what enemies are going to come and had to plan your moves for the whole wave before it starts, I think that would be cool!

Definitely, we have that implemented but found it made the game way to slow. It might work well if we had had time to design some tight puzzles.
