Wow that's some ncie game !! Once you're into the story and you understand the gameplay that's reaaaally cool !!
I loved the thick atmosphere you created with the high quality art and sound. The large number of different NPCs with personality made the world feel more realized. My first 2 runs ended with death, but on my third run I quickly ran into the genie and its lamp, and immediately reached the oasis. Overall, really fun and impressive stuff-- great job!
Nice game! It has a very unique atmosphere, I found it difficult to know where to go but it was fun to wander around anyway! :D
I loved the art, but I think the concept is a bit poor: you just have to be lucky, there isn't a real challenge. I'm not gonna lie though, exploring the map the first time felt great!
Thanks for your feedback ! :) The whole concept of the game was not about a challenge, but to explore. I forgot to mention the game's world auto generates each run, so the layout is always randomized at the beggining of each run. Next time I'll go ahead for a good challenge, this time was just to prove myself I could finish something in a short period of time on my own. Again, thank you very much for your comment :)
The art and feel was amazing. I did end up finding the Oasis quite fast on some runs, but I found the game 10x more fun when I tried to get a highscore, highest I got was 2350. The thirst meter really made it feel like you had to learn the layout of the desert so you dont waste any thirst. Great entry
Amazing game!
Nice art style and atmosphere. Definitely has potential!
