Walk Cycles and Mirroring

Just to clarify, since the limitation of the jam is that only 2 frames are allowed for an animation, a proper walk cycle can't be made since it needs atleast 3 frames, right?

Also, does mirroring a frame count as an extra frame?

EDIT: For example, can I take a 4 frame walk cycle and split it up? Say instead of a move up animation, I say something like right leg up, left leg up so that each of them are 2 frames? It's a little unclear as to what would constitute an animation.

I think mirroring is more of an "action" than an actual frame

And for walk cycle, the only solution i see here is to make the character to walk jumping, with both legs at the same time, you dont need to move each leg separately

But hey, the limitation say it's open for interpretations, so i think as long as you explain your interpretation of It you're Fine (that's what i understood, not sure tho)

Yeah, I did settle on something like that.

The way I see it, you can take any action and brake it up into smaller parts and make each of those 2 frames. But that feels wrong as I guess what they want is choppy animation.
