Cute! I'm not sure I understood what was going on, aside from trying to get out of the mine, but it was a fun little experience getting these two miners to cooperate.
Gameplay is nice. I had fun. I like the art style too. Nice job.
I enjoyed it, nice concept of having to control 2 people, and it fits the theme quite well.
I like it! Only thing I would change is to have the lights reset when moving to the next stage.
I originally had the lights refill when moving to the next stage but the levels felt too easy and made the oil pumps a little useless. Perhaps if I had more time to design the levels so there's actual strategy and puzzle solving involved. A lot of things were very rushed at the end of this jam.
Thanks for playing though!
Great art and atmosphere! It's a bit short though. I want more :)
I informed another user that there actually is more content but there was a mishap during submission and I can't make any changes during the jam's voting period sadly. But thank you for trying it out!
Loved the art and animations on this! Extremely cute! Also the idea of two miners alone finding there way through the mine is very original
Thanks! Be sure to check out the artist's social media. He's very talented.
I feel like the game ended before I got to see the mechanics really get interesting, which might have been because I was never 100% sure what those mechanics were, but I really enjoyed the game for what it is
There were more levels but sadly the build that I uploaded only had the first 3 because I was testing out the game state going from menu, to game, to game end. I forgot to reverse that and include all the levels and the jam rules state that we're not allowed to make any changes during voting so it is what it is.
To be perfectly honest though, even we weren't really 100% sure what the mechanics were supposed to be. It was beginning to come to focus but by that time it was too late and we just needed to wrap it up just to have something to submit.
Thanks for playing though!
I can relate. If you put a post-jam build up I'd be happy to try it!
