This is really cool! It's short and sweet but would love to have more levels to play! The cars seem to be rolling, I don't know if that gotta do with anything.

Developer

Thanks!  I actually working on some more levels and more polish overall.  The cars aren't real Ai so they don't work to well but hopefully I can get it done in the next version.

Nice concept and I really enjoyed the art style. But I'm not sure the weight mechanic works, since the game seems to be played best just holding down w.

Developer

I didn't have the time to make the enemies better, so for now the weight mechanic is more for fun (and for me personally satisfying) than to win, but when I do make the enemies not just flipping over all the time it should be more of a requirement to use the weight mechanics wisely.  Thanks for the feedback!

Cool idea for sure! I agree with some of the comments below that I would have liked more to play with the idea more.

Developer

Thanks!  I do plan on adding more in the future.

Cool idea - took me a few times to work out how to get first place :)

Definitely be interesting to see this expanded upon with more tracks, the effect of weight on turns, etc.!

Developer

Thanks,  gonna try and make it a lot more finished after the jam!

I think the core gameplay and design is there, there just needs to be more. Don't usually see these sorts of games in jams, so this was a nice change of pace.

Developer(+1)

Thanks!  It's my first time making a 3d game so I didn't have the time to add a bigger track and real AI.  In the future I want to make a bigger track, ai, and multiplayer but that might be a bit too ambitious.

If it wasn't ambitious, it wouldn't be worth doing. Go for it!

The combination of gravity and racing is a very interesting concept.

The AI does not seem to be working well. It keeps rolling over all the time.

I would really like to play on other courses. A racing game that makes full use of gravity. Definitely fun!

That's the reason I really like these jams, especially the mini ones, because the limitation really makes you think and add something fun/unique.  I didn't have the time for more courses or for a real ai (the ai is just a box collider that is constantly getting pushed as long as it is on the ground, rotating when slightly off the ground) and the webgl version has some wierd physics changes so I had to add in some stuff that makes them even worse at driving.  I'm glad you liked it and I do plan on making some more courses and better ai.

I really liked the simplistic art of this game. The controls also feel responsive.

I would appreciate it greatly if you played/rated my game.

Developer

I'm glad you liked it, I spent a while trying to find a style that fits.  I'll check your game out soon!

Neat idea! I like the music. It's pretty hard to lose though - this would be fun multiplayer!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I didn't have the time to make the enemies harder and this was more of a prototype since I want to expand this game with bigger maps and hopefully multiplayer.
