simple and fun

a harder frogger! also, you got a nice retro aesthetic going on. the blood effect got me thinking “this would be on Sega, but not on Nintendo”

This is my new headcanon of what luigi does when he is left out of the action. The art is superb :D and really cool and I was just like “DUDE you just run over LUGI XD” btw I know is not luigi but hey nintendo has brain washed me to think that every guy with a greenish cap is luigi 😅😂 very cool game btw

lol I love it, ran out of time so I had to use an older character I made but I’m glad you liked it

This was really well made, the presentation and execution of the game made it feel like a SNES game you'd play.. Would even be a fun phone game with a bit more polish in terms of gameplay.

The only thing I'd note that kinda hindered on my enjoyment was that I couldn't save EVERY frog.. that mainly just came down to generation but also that it would be really good to be able to pickup more than one frog, basically, one or the other would solve that issue and I think I would've played it even longer than i did lol, could grant bonuses for multi-frog saving

Very nice spritework and song to go with it!
Also very difficult haha

I always fail to save the first frog! I dunno if that is just bad rng but it feels so bad haha

Developer

there are times he can be saved since the speed of the cars are randomized but the idea was you as the player see the horror and try to do something to save the rest lol

Nice! Motivation! :P

I really liked the character art and animation -very nice.  The game was fun too and a clever nod to frogger.  Great work! :D

Nice take on the classic Frogger! We love that, once in a million time, the player is risking his life to save other beings and not disposing 'em! Good job!

Great concept, and fun to play. Some more variation would be have been good, but I had a lot of fun anyway!

A nice approach to the classic Frogger. But I found it kinda difficult to save all frogs. My saving rates were at ~50%.

Developer

you definitely can’t save them all, but it’s ok they were an invasive species lol

 thanks for playing!

I really enjoyed this game. It's like reverse Frogger! The pixel art looks very clean and well done.

I think the biggest opportunities would be to polish the presentation and depth of gameplay.

Keep up the good work!

Really fun gameplay (nice nod to Frogger) and I really like the pixel art (though I noticed the cars sort of squeeze jitter, not sure if intended part of their animation or not). However, when the guy got hit by a car, there wasn't a game over notification or any way to reset the level (that I could see).

Developer

odd so you never got the game over screen? Also with the cars the speed is randomized sometimes they rear end each other definitely could use more polish

i tested quite a few times on firefox, what browser are you using if you dont mind me asking
