i often found myself hoping for a log to position itself so that i could push myself back to about a third of the way up the screen or lower — it becomes a lot easier when there’s more time to react!
what do you mean by that ? Do you mean you would like if there was a way to push yourself back up ?
no, the opposite! i’d prefer to start much lower down. the difficulty in these games is determined by reaction time, and if you’re lower on the screen then you get more time to react
i push myself down to the bottom at the first opportunity and then keep playing from there

Simple, with nice sprites, i like the logs design, but the water requires some movement., more waves to give a bit more emotion to the game, I would say. But it is a nice entry. My best was 58.
simple, but enjoyable :)
Fun, but frustrating when the game kills you.
Enjoyment: Good, simple, fun. It kept making me want to play again.
Concept: It's basically a standard endless-runner, but dodging from side to side felt good, so can't complain.
Presentation: Pleasing art, nice jump sound. The falling sound is good, but a little loud. It startled me.
Use of the Limitation: An endless game definitely counts!
Overall, this was a fun, addictive game. My best score was 78.
It gets tough when there's a frog on a log on the bottom of the screen.
