Cool game

I like the idea/mechanics of this game! Only note is that sometimes I wouldn't be able to cast my rod, not sure if there is a cooldown or it just wasn't lined up well.

Developer

The second one. You're right, that needs better feedback.

Really fun! Loved the game play!-fishing to build up the platform was fun!  Art was great too! Great work! :D

I really liked the mechanic

Pretty nice game! The idea is fun, the colors are pretty and the art style is cute.

Even if the kind of ennemies evolve, the game turns out to be a bit repetitive after a while.

Some ideas of improvement: being able to go faster, the ennemies could destroy the constructions, use the collected start to purchase improvement (going faster, pulling the construction faster from the pool, etc).

Really fun game! I think this concept has a ton of potential. I also loved the frog noises, they reminded me a ton of "Frogger 2". One thing that might make this game better is rewarding players for adding a certain number of pieces to your base rather than only awarding points through stars. Just an idea, really good job though!

Pretty good game all around and I think that the some aspects could be improved upon like giving some of the models textures and adding some better lighting.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Regarding textures, what do you mean? More detailed textures? Did something not load?

Great start overall. The building mechanic is fun and creative. The frogs are a good obstacle, adding the need for quick thinking and planning.

- I wanted to turn faster, and it was slightly too easy to fall off the platforms.

- Fighting the frogs was a little clunky, some more audio/visual feedback for it would help

- The water had a bit too much color for the tiles to pop out. An outline around the tiles would also help.

Building up a safe place to run around has a distinct feeling to it.

Then you begin to wonder: where did all the debris come from? Is there something out there breaking apart floating towns? As the thought sets in, it doesn't feel so safe after all...

Thanks for the great feedback! I didn't have much time to think about story, but I like that idea. Maybe it needs a gigantic frog boss at some point...

I really enjoyed this game! The mechanics of building the level while battling the frogs work very well together. It felt very original and fun.

There is an opportunity to improve the polish and presentation but I understand what it's like to only have 72 hours to finish.

Keep up the good work!

Really cool game! The concept of building the level as you go is great! I like the strategising you have to do as you play. The sounds were a cool touch as well!
The gameplay was fun and responsive!

Sometimes I wish you could turn around faster, but apart from that this was a really fun and creative game, that uses the Limitation really well!

Absolutely loved it! I would definitely play a fully fleshed out version of this. Well done!

When you respawn it would be nice for the game to make it a lot more obvious where you have been put. I lost my last life because the game plopped me in the middle of a bunch of frogs and I couldn't tell who I was!
