Nice music and graphics in your game. A fun idea for the game. Good project for this jam!

that last level man... two dogs was ruff lol, i enjoyed the SFX and the little tune in the background, great work and I hope to see more games from you

Thanks,

I had a lot of fun making this game, I'll definitely try again other jams in the future

Good use (and limitation) of the dash mechanic in this well execute dog-eats-cat-eats-mouse world.
Particular enjoyed the music, and the sound design when notifying the player when they're in range of the dog.

Well done, and good luck! :D

A simple and well executed game. The last level was frustrating at times since it can be very dependent on RNG.

Good work, keep at it!

Developer

Thanks,

a couple of features that I had to cut due to time contstraints were obstacles that could slow down the dogs and a ball that the cat could throw to distract them, I hope to add them in a revised version after the jam

Cool idea, great art and nice music! Only thing that I would change is that the ground could have some more variation

Developer

Thanks,

I had a lot of fun making this game, I think that I'll revisit and expand it after the jam, adding more variety to both art and sound.

The "dash and catch" mechanic is very satisfying. Good job.

I would have liked the text to match the game more stylistically. I would have chosen different colours as the green is quite bright and i feel like this game would suit a more pastel palette. simple concept and well executed. i like the introduction of enemies too!

The font is the default one I use in my projects, and was meant to be replaced with something more fitting, but then I ran out of time and I submitted the game as is.

I plan to expand the game a bit after the jam, I'll try out a less saturated palette, thanks!

Fun game idea! On the second level, I was surprised when I realized that the cat had a lives-bar. I stuck around to see how it got used.

It was hard to shake off the dog once it saw you. You could hypothetically dash away from it to get far away, but I kept accidentally picking up mice and losing my dash ability. Maybe allow the player to continue dashing while holding mice? Or allow the player to release the mouse so you can keep dashing?

Thank you for making this game!

Thanks!

Actually, letting the cat drop the mouse to escape the dogs was among the features that got cut due to time constraints.

I plan to expand the game a bit after the jam (and also add a bit of variety to the soundtrack)

Oo sweet! I'll be following it!
