Use of the limitation
The player's house is the only room in the game - and they must leave it to face the danger outside! The underground house is the staging post for each day's adventures, eventually incorporating upgrades that improve survivability.

Would like to try a windows version, had some problems with the HTML version, but as far as i can see in the pictures the art style seems pretty good :)

This is a really cool use of the limitation. Sort of enjoyably stressful, a little bit like Lemmings was, with those fading shield/platform doodles. Excellent concept and world building with such minimal resources. *Really* fantastic graphics. I notice you used freeware sound FX - I'm a maker of chiptunes and general chip audio for various ancient systems, if you'd ever like to collaborate on a game project in future, I'd certainly be interested.

Hey, thanks a lot - I'm working on a couple of other projects right now, I'll be in touch if there's a need!

This was really fun!! The art is cute and this was fun to play! The controls are kinda slippery, though I assume that's part of the game design! Also, I love the color palette!

Had fun buying the bed and scavenging for cupcakes, hearts, and coins.

Also great pixel art style, I like the simplistic colors.

Very original concept. The only thing I'm not so happy with, is the color palette. But despite that it's a very fun game and I had a great time playing it! :)

Loved drawing to counter the difficult platforming to go out and collect food in the rain -really cool concept and great use of xD  and had a nice vibe to it too!  Excellent work! :D

Hey, so i bet its a pretty alright game but unfortunetly the HTML version of the game doesnt focus, i see that you are using game maker studio and it has a problem with the html exporting sometimes, the only way i found how to fix it is by modyfing the obfuscated code, here is a guide on how to fix it (first reply to this post) if you ever need it in the future, its pretty annoying, but if u don't do it its unplayable for some users like me...

Developer

Thanks, it works okay in every browser I've tested it on - you may need to click in the window to make it work, though. I will release a downloadable Windows version until I find a way to fix that!

The concept was amazing, I really enjoyed the platform doubling as the shield. The controls would be improved if the jump was near the side to side controls because the other hand needs to operate the cursor. I also liked the art style and the cute player character
