I'm impressed by the arts and animations, it was also very fun to play! My main issue was the amount of time between the transitions, where the time would keep ticking. A few times I had reached the end of the corridor with the lasers and the screen faded to black but the timer was still ticking, and after 5-10 seconds it gave me the lost-screen. :(

I liked that each step, or level, had its own little challenge, it made me want to try again to do better. :) Good one!

PS. found a bug I'm sure you already know about but I'll toss it in there anyway - when I picked up gold and didn't make it back in time, I would restart but keeping my gold in the inventory.

Ah! I didn't know about that on the gold staying, due to the DontDestroyOnLoad, Thanks for pointing that out! As for the transitions, I honestly have no idea why it takes so long, it works fine in the editor, but after compiling it just takes forever. Thank you for taking the time to try it out!

Really really good game, love how everything had it's own animation, and how you could try for a better score for the price of being slowed down more. Liked it a lot :)

The art work was nostalgic and the Au joke was very witty. Great submission for your first jam.

I liked the different levels, although if you took away the 1 minute timer, the game could still fun fine. Overall, good game.

Mixed feelings about this. I like how you traverse through the level and the different challenges are fun if a bit easy. But, I just don't feel like the timer was a big enough factor because it resets after every transition, and actually stealing the gold doesn't affect the game much or make it harder to escape besides being slower.  Overall, I did enjoy the game, but it wasn't very satisfying and didn't embrace the limitation enough in my opinion.

Felt like a retro stealth game. Really cool! Music was also good!

The art and animations are great, felt like a SNES game! Very good job - especially for Your first game jam.
