Use of the limitation
The simulation of both breeding and matches runs continually with no stopping for player input to control either (until a decision must be made to fix an invalid state such as overbreeding)

really ambitious and i love the concept. i definitely think you should build this out further post-jam. it's a great idea, just difficult to pull off in one weekend.

It was far too ambitious, it was my first jam, first 'released' game and I had no idea how much I could try to bite off. (Plus I was streaming most of the development on Twitch, and that may have slowed things more than a little as well :)).
