Now some feedback! The game looks really nice! The world procedural creation is really well made.  it is always cohesive and feels really nice to move across the map.

The music felt a bit repetitive but the particles on getting coins and enemy movement were nice. Making this from scratch must be a hard task! Well done there! Ir really deserves more atention

Hi! This game is wayyy better than many games around here. It deserves more attention, for sure.

I trusted you but my pc told me that your game was a virus (but I forced it to be executed) . This kind of downloadable games, made with custom engines are a double edged sword for most game jammers. Maybe you should implement ports to webgl in your framework next time. People usually won't download games if they are not made with a recognizable engine. Plus your engine isn't much flexible. I saw someone below having problems to execute the game due to his hardware architecture. I don't know but i think this won't run on linux lr macOs. Only on x64 Windows (idk don't mind me)

Thanks for feedback and encouragement !

actually i did my game with pygame. i put that it is avaiable on macos/linux because pygame is in theory cross-platform.

I played it several times. I like the style and the idea. At first, I thought that having neither a dash or an attack was a flaw but the fact that you are a little faster than your enemies makes the game a lot more playable. But the most surprising thing was that you accomplished that in pygame. Thats really impressive.

Some downside things: Moving to a side and top/down at the same time gives a speed boost. You should normalice the movement vector. Also you should try not to spawn enemies directly beside your spawn. It happened that I went through a trapdoor and died within the first second because an enemy spawned 1m beside me.

All in all a nice game! Good polishing for a 72h jam

Thanks for giving feedback !

ah yeah for the polishing 😓

I tried at first to make assets myself but since I suck at making assets it was ugly

so i took premade assets

but i did the background/mainmenu music myself (and for the coins i modified a coin asset: no one would make square coins...)

i didn't thinked about the idea of the fact that tou go faster in diagonal but you're right !

ah yeah and for spawn kill i didnt got time : I needed to fix another problem at the end it was the fact that u cant get more than 10 tokens, but now when you get 10 tokens a chest appears and...

i think you're faster than the enemies because they do rectangular moves + because as you said going in diagonal goes faster

i usually did the same speed but when i tested it was good and i let it like that

i couldn't rate your game because it lagged and the next time my browser said it doesnt support webgl (and i dont have another browser)

thanks for the encouragement !
