Did not know about Naughty Attributes. You are a life saver! Thanks

Had a similar though on this.
As for your first concern I assume you already took a look at the widely used gitignore for unity projects? https://github.com/github/gitignore/blob/main/Unity.gitignore
Using this will at least ignore all that internal stuff. Your public repository will then only contain Assets, Packages and Settings.
One could also ignore the folders containing the payed assets using the .gitignore file. They would then not be uploaded to github. However, as you already said, the code would then not compile without said assets.
Guess we must wait for Acerola to respond :)
I've read in other posts that even payed assets are allowed. E.g. in this post: https://itch.io/jam/acerola-jam-0/topic/3539640/packages-from-the-unity-asset-st...
I've got some editor extensions that speed my workflow by a lot (talking about Odin inspector or rainbow folders).
And that leads me to two questions about that:
- What are the exact restrictions of using payed assets? (other than having the license to use it)
- Since every submission must be open source, I would push a payed asset onto an open repository which could enable other people to use that asset eventhough they did not pay for it. Is this even legal?
Gonna drop that here https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-10/rate/2235366
Watching your stream right now!
What a cool diving game! First game with a pixel perfect camera i've seen in this jam. Interesting take.
Liked the pixel art and sound music (the song might be stuck in my head for some time... thank you... :P).
I feel like the movement was a little unforgiving at some points where only one pixel was stuck on another pixel and hold me back from rotating. Maybe a little slipperiness could do the job.
Anyway, gotta love the cute little amogus-bean. Well done y'all
Count me in! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-10/rate/2235366
When are you planning to start? I wanna watch!
Played your game because I thought the name was hillarous. Had a good laugh when I was suddenly facing a challenging math-game. This was definitely not what I expected :D
Like the art style, clean and neat. Sometimes you don't need expensive textures.
Only thing to complain about is that imo the ball was a little too fast. The moment I got a plan what to do, the ball has already bounced 5 times (or maybe I just think too slow, who knows)
Quite addictive game, I must say. I really like the retro-style in graphics as well as in audio. One thing I especially want to point out is the fact, that your graphics all have the same pixel size. That is a thing that most people do not take care of but it makes a huge difference in credibility. Well done on that!
I think, adding some more dangers might give your game a little extra juice. Thinking about something like snakes or moles that move one block when the player is moving one block. Then, you must carefully think where to move to not hit the enemy.
Also, getting only one oxygen per upgrade feels a little slow. Maybe increase the number the more oxygen you already have?
All in all: Good job, liked it a lot
Very unique art stile. The shiny raven is a nice idea and I really liked the adorable jumping animation while walking.
Actually, I think with some extra work, a little polish and more content, this could be a good game to be published for mobile. Maybe limit ammo, add some more different monsters or something like that and it would be a 10/10
Others already stated that the graphics are awesome. But I actually find them awesome enough to say it once again: Awesome graphics! I am extremely impressed.
Controls were snappy, actions were polished and sound design is calming. Really liked it.
I think, only a counter to know how many fish are left could improve this even more. Really good job!
Thank you for playing my game! I am glad to see you here :)
You actually have found a sore spot talking about the menu :D This was one point we had planned for the last day but then git decided to not work anymore so we ran out of time. Will definitely be a thing that we add in future. Thanks for the feedback!
Over all I enjoyed it. I really like those puzzle solving first person RPGs. Thumbsup!
At some point I died and didn't know why, maybe some hints could be useful.
Other people stated that the visual clarity wasn't that good but I think that actually is the charme of this game. Giving this dark atmosphere. I liked it!
First UE4 game i've seen here. Graphics pretty good as expected and I like the idea to have a shooter underwater. Also, I got some good scares. Well done.
You unfortunately seem to have the same problem as I have: The game file is too big and people dont want to download it. So I hope you get your 20 rates at the end of the 2 week period!
PS: I'd be happy if you tested my game too :)
What a good game! I really like the mixture of 2D and 3D. Difficulty curve was surprisingly well done for a jam submission, effects are quite nice and using the different power-ups was really satisfying! Good job!
Maybe only play with the hitboxes a little bit. Some shots looked like they hit but they didnt. Apart from that, I have nothing to complain about
