The character is definitely too fast, but I can imagine this with a nice character controller, and it would be very nice. The lava and different birds looked really nice.

Thanks so much. I'll be making some updates in the post-jam edition...

Just like JsphLm said, the character is way too fast (huge acceleration ?)  but the game is cool, love the art and also (your?) voice acting that add an old scholl vibe that I like, + the lava idea is an excellent application of the limitation.

Developer

Yeah... it's my voice, with the pitch lowered to sound tougher. :)

Thanks so much for playing and rating! :)

Great game! You even had the lore and everything. The controls are a little bit too sensitive tho but it made the game more interesting. Keep it up!

Thanks so much for playing and rating! I had intended to include a more narrative introduction, but then I ran out of time and had to slap my ideas down in a little pop-up window. :)

I actually was going back and forth about the sensitivity of the controls. On the one hand, I felt the twitchiness really meshed with the theme; on the other, it really is too easy to slide too far and fall in a pit. I'm curious in everyone's reactions.
