A lovely little game, especially with this being your first and you having all the assets yourself.
If you were to develop it further in the future, I'd suggest to improve the enemy pathfinding so that they can't sense the player through walls and it may be better if the player only has to restart the current level when failing and not having to start from 0 again and redoing the levels one has already finished. But for the limited time frame of the jam, well done!

It was challenging to play. I did feel the main character's hitbox was a little too big! Made it difficult to squeeze around the crabs.

Thanks for your feedback! That was actually crabs' hitboxes that were a tiny bit bigger than crabs themselves. Based on all comments - I should have made the game a little easier. Lesson learned for future jams.
This was a really cool idea. Controls felt good and responsive. I died, a lot lol. Not a lot of sound effects, but the ones in there were good. Nice job!
