How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
You have to look in your Rearview mirror for the theme behind you. For the special object there is both glasses that you wear on you head, and glass as in windows.

Really good implementation of the theme I really liked the simplistic 2D art in a 3D game. I could only get 32 as a highscore. Really simple but yet trully effective as a game. I would love it so that you could also avoid things in front of you so that you are not only focusing on the rear view mirror so that it is extra challenging but thats just an idea for how to keep going with the game
32 is still a really good score. PintSizedGames was suggesting a similar thing about obstacle in front, where there could be a cross walk and people cross over the road and you would have to avoid them. ty for playing i hope you enjoyed.
Awesome implementation of the theme! I love seeing the cars in the rear view mirror! Great music and the art is cute, I like the 2D sprites driving past. However I'm not sure what is supposed to happen when you press space. All around very fun and cool game! :) The theme is well implemented and mechanics are smooth.
I think i messed up with the code for the blindness effect which was the space mechanic. But im so glad you thought it was cool. :)
Great implementation of the behind you theme! It was fun dodging the cars, I feel its needs a difficulty curve though, I'm not sure if the blurred visions was enough, maybe implement a few more colored cars and certain colored cars are harder to dodge ect. Really fun game!
Im glad you enjoyed, the color cars is a really good idea maybe some could also go faster then others. i was also thinking on adding trucks, so you would have to make more room for it to pass through but didnt have enough time to Implement it.
Exactly what I thought! Or you could have emergency vehicles.
Normal car = As you have alreadyTruck/school bus = Bigger in size
Police car = Goes fast with lights on
Firetruck = Goes fast and is bigger
Maybe people even crossing the road in front of you as the level of difficulty increases so you have to dodge obstacles both behind and in front. I think there's a lot of good ideas that could be put into this game.
All in all though, really cool idea that if you had more time I think could have become really great and a classic arcade type game.
The music is so groovy! It is so fun to dodge the cars, which trying to cut you off in the last moment! (=
Blindness could be harder - for example blur or turn all mirrors off. And here you just needs to briefly hit space and you are back. Nevertheless the game is really fun! And it is more fun, more spped you get! (=
thats a good idea for blindness i wanted to do more on that but i was out of time so i had to stick with something easy. im glad you enjoyed. (=
Congrats, the music is amazing the gameplay is fun, the blindness doesn't seem to work for the whole game? Like I started had blindness once and then I wasn't blinded anymore!

ya i enjoy the music as well, idk y blindness does not work ill have to fix it when the game jam is over. also nice score at those speeds the game get difficult. im glad you enjoy. :)
