Snails (representation of doubts) spawn behind a player. You need to use special glasses to closely look on your doubts so they will be safe to use! Now you can use the snails to jump higher to your goal!

Fun game!! Making your own platforms by stopping the enemies is a fun idea!

Nice to turn enemies into platforms. It could be nice to push these platform snails because you can easily be softlocked

The theme was really well implemented in this game, and it was really fun to play. I think I might have just set a wr for finishing it

I liked how your game looked. For the gameplay, I though the platforming was pretty good and the mechanics of the snails being platforms and enemies was fun. However, I think the implementation of Glasses felt a bit disappointing. It just feels you could take out the glasses and have no affect to the gameplay. But the overhaul theme was greatly used.

Very cute little game! The snail sprites and animation are cool and I like the core game mechanics. I do wish that there was some additional sound design elements other than the level music.

Nice game ! Just not sure about what the metaphor means xD Like, what are the in-game element that tell me that they are not just invisible snails afraid of my glasses ?

Also it would have been nice to add some other type of snakes with other capacities (like more speed or bigger) for a twist because the game is a bit repetitive on the end.

Great suggestions! I just spent 8 hours on invisibility (which even does not work in browser) and had no time left for game mechanics or other enemies. (=

Will do better in future! (;

Very cool game! Creating your own platforms in a platformer is always interesting, and i think you put a unique spin on it by having those platforms be defeated enemies that continously spawn behind you, which i really liked. Only criticisms are that i wish it had some sound effects outside of the music and that snails would sometimes spawn right on top of me, killing me instantly with little counterplay.

Good job done here! :)

Great game! Nice implementation of the theme, the sleeping snails is a nice mechanic.

Oh yeah, somehow I got softlocked.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Developer(+1)

Yeah I think I need to implement lifetime for a snails, so they disappear after sleeping for 5 seconds, to avoid such softlocks.

I think a restart button would be enough.

Interesting game, the snails kept spawning behind me and killing me instantly which was not so fun. Keep up the good work.

Basically just played the classic, "Would you take 10 million dollars but have a killer snail chase you the rest of your life?"
I still would, game was fun to play but at times a snail would spawn literally were I was jumping lmao

Developer (1 edit)

It means that you jump in the place where you already were. (= Snails spawn at previous player posistions (;

Very original, good job :)

Please consider playing version for windows. In browser SCREEN_TEXTURE in shaders is not working.
