night vision glasses and monster behind you:

You woke up in a strange kind of sewerage basement. You remember how you fell into a manhole not a long time ago. After your senses came back, you feel a severe headache, your mind is clouded and something seems really wrong. You can fell something... behind you. You're turning around, and some kind of shadow disappears just before your eyes. Fortunately, you got your night vision glasses from your job, they allow you to see in the dark for 60 seconds. With the help of glasses you're looking around, but it seems there is no exit nearby. Will you be able to defeat local monsters, your visions, cope with the darkness and finally get out?
(the level is randomly generated, you need to find a way out)


Q - turn on Night Vision Glasses

W A S D - moving

Shift - run

(you should periodically turn around with your glasses on to avoid panic attacks)

Was gonna say the game is waaaay to dark (finished it without using the goggles) but then read here that Q turns on Night Vision haha

Still, I liked the dark visuals (those outlines). The game was somewhat easy but still didn't got bored. Also I don't really enjoy the theme implementation that much but it kinda still fits it.

Cons 

  • The character movement is waaaay to slow on walk, i'm getting bored more than worried beceaus i know nothing will happend when i walk the monster does nothing on me. That sayed, walking sim can be interesting thanks to nice environment to see and narrative environment,  but here you just see darkness so interest decreas
  • No way to regain  Energy . At first time i didnt think the energy was linked the the glasses and thought it was link the my capacity to run.  But once i understood that i still was using a lot the glasses thinking i will find things to regain my energy bot no. I ended my game with only one mechanics : walk.
  • Level design is poor, there is dead ends with no design intention beceaus they take times to reach, thinking this is the way, but when reached there is nothing exepted frustration to make the way back, slowly, with the walk. it could have been cool to put there energy capsule to regain energy for exemple to reward player exploration, but instead you punish his exploration
  • I getted killed too easily by the monster when I started running, so i started never run
  • When killed you don't know how and why you got killed, no feedback on this and this is frustrating beceaus you don't understand your fault

Pros

  • SFX is pretty good, you have a real sensation of walking on different surface and the ambiant atmosphere works
  • When the enemy mechanic isn't buggy, it works well and you can feel the pressure
  • Fact of only seing  white lines of the environment on idle is smart it force you to memorize where you go beceaus when you move you only see he arkness and it play on a risk reward system where the risk is the movement and the reward is the advencement, i really liked it !

Anyway, i think you can be proud of what you have done, i know how hard it is to make and FINISH a game, so even if i pointed bad sides of your game from my opinio, thee is also good side with interesting choiceand so congralutations

The dark art style is reall cool. The noise monster is rightfully terrifying. Just a great game. 

A thing I would like to see is a better indication of where to go. I was just left running around endlessly until the monster  eventualy cought me. I did figure it out after about 3 runs, but I think it could be better indicated.

Definitely worth the 10 min boss fight with my antivirus just to launch the game. :D

It's fine, I just think the challenge should be to find the exit, not figure out what they're even looking for.

the game is overall good however ı would love to see game mic have ırl mic test to (like normal voice and gameplay mix)  also ı loved procedural games , while ı was playing ı wanted to make the 3d arts xd
