Tough game! Good gameplay, good idea. Well done.
Took me quite a few attempts, I found starting with the innermost lasers helped, then sticking to the middle area dodging, while sniping the remaining turrets.

Fun premise and gameplay, kept me on edge. Graphics and sound are good. Well done!
After about 15-ish hellish minutes I managed to beat the game.
Guide on how to beat:
1. First shoot the two laser skulls. To pass the time for the spell to work, pause alternating at the top and bottom of the screen, crossing by dashing each time. Change side when you about to get hit by the bullets.
2. Next line up shots from the center on the 6 smaller skulls when their shields are facing away. Again, dodge at the top and bottom while waiting for them. The game gets easier the less of them there are
3. To kill the big guys, wait for them to shoot. Then push up against their shields and spam click. The bullet will break the shield and stick. Once again, dodge repeatedly. Do for both.
4. Kill the last two laser skulls (super easy)
5. Profit

Also, what sound did you hear? there is no sound...
It would be cool if the bullet had some kinda of cool abilities going back. Like it would still like fire. Like some guy would have front shield so you would miss on purpouse and hit him on the bullets way back. Do I make sense? :DD

Really like the game, definitely getting some Hades vibes (especially with the projectile)^^
Would be great to give me some time to recover after being hit, something like character blinking and be invulnerable for some seconds.
It is hard but I also like the factor that you can dash a lot do dodge stuff.
Clean movement controls!

Its a very nice concept, although level 1 is WAAAYYYY to difficult, this deterred me from moving past it. I would recommend easy levels at the beginning of the game. I'm not sure if it was intended, but, when you go into the lasers you do not immediately die, which would usually make sense. Another very useful feature would be your health displaying as a bar or as hearts, it's quite hard keeping track of your health when it is just a number.
Thanks for your feedback, lasers should not kill instantly, they deal periodic damage every 0.7 seconds if you stand in them. I will definitely continue to improve the game and plan to release a post jam version in a week.
