My first play-through was mostly trial and error and then things started to sink in. I played before the update and the new version is more enjoyable, possibly just because I could understand more the second time. I think there was a slight regression though because I remember being able to see the final board state before the level finished, whereas now the loading begins as soon as the final move is played. Well done on making a challenging game in such a small canvas.

Thanks for testing it and for the feedback, I'm glad you liked it.

I'm going to make an adjustment here to hold down the screen a little before loading to give the player time to see the score.

By the way, I'm working on a new version based on the feedback received.

Looks great, I’m keen to give it a try whenever it’s ready

Took a while to get the rules but explaining it as "Tic Tac Toe but if Triple Triad" helps.
When that clicked, though, I had a lot of fun.
Surprisingly good game design here haha. Sometimes the AI wouldn't make an optimal move but that helped me learn, at least. Could use with more polish on the UI and, like, any sound at all, but this would be a pretty decent game outside the jam constraints too.

Thanks for testing it and I'm glad you liked it, the AI is really quite dumb, especially at the beginning of the game. in the first levels she has a very low chance of making a good move and as you get stronger levels, I think that starting from level 10, and approaching the last stages of the "run", the chance of her making a move increases better.

Regarding other UI and font observations, I'm working on a new version, collecting feedback from those who played this one, but I still need to validate the concept.

Notes from gameplay:

- i like the color scheme!

- pixelated font is tricky to read

- appreciate the page of instructions!

I think this has potential to be fun, I'm just not really understanding how to play.  I kinda think I get it, but if the goal is to match up the pixels on the borders, I can't see what those are once it's been played. A third contrasting color might help a lot here. Happy to do a replay with more instructions :)

I published a version where I made some adjustments, now it is possible to see the cards you have and you can even change them when you receive a new one and in the explanation of the controls changing "o" to "z", adjusting the draw message to "draw", a more dynamic tutorial and other adjustments.

Thanks for trying it, I really liked the suggestions.

I'm making a prototype of a new colored version, but it's still a draft and I need to validate the concept to have that balance between strategy and a little luck.

Ah, yes, the colors make it a lot easier to see at a glance!
