Programmer looking to team up with an artist

Hey guys!

Awesome idea to hold a game jam, looking forward to see the games that are going to be made for it. That being said, I'm looking to team up with a 2D artist/animator for the jam. Preferably someone from Germany, Rheinland-Pfalz or close by (who speaks good English :D ) so we can get together a few times. Not really experienced with Unity, nor Unreal, my main development engine is Löve2D, but I can safely say that this engine is perfect for 2D games of all kinds.

So if you are looking for a programmer buddy and you have a storm of ideas in your head like I do, join me to make an awesome game :)

Cheers!

Hey! Do you need sound by any chance?

Would be awesome to have, yeah :)

Hey, I'll be joining on the Jam too as a two men team, me and my brother. Really looking forward to your Löve2D game, and hopefully OpenSource :D

A great fan of Löve2D gotta say, but porbably will go for Unity, to sharpen my poor skills.

Good luck to all!

Could I join you in Unity?

Hey Exen, sorry for the delay. The thing is I've little experience with Unity, like next to none... then if you believe that you can take on the lead programmer role, because maybe you need an artist, I'd have no problem. In case you don't feel like it, I don't know... what do you think?

Thanks, good luck to you too! Well, love games are 'open source' whether you like it or not :D

True on that 😂

Would you be interested in another programmer?

I'm technically from RLP but currently due to an exchange in Norway.

Not saying 'no' to any kind of help :) What's your experience with Lua?

OKish got some experience through factorio mods/scenarios. I'm more a C++ guy, but currently somewhat interested in löve2d.

Got a discord server or something else were we can chat?

Discord's ok - Antoan#7983
