the concept is creative, the art and animation is nice and snappy, the calm music fits since it's a puzzle game, I like the coins but can I also have some use for them like an upgrade that doubles the speed at which the inverted thing travels or something simple like a new costume, only needs more levels and new concept like a second player which you also have to control,

good job and also is there a way to cancel the whole inverted teleporting?

Developer

Thanks for your feedback a lot! No there is no way to cancel your ability after it started, it is intentional so that the players have to think before they use it but still in a lot of cases you can still make so that it doesn't kill you after the teleportation.

Amazing! I love it! the black screen when you die is a bit too fast and confuses me a little bit!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!

Amazing idea.

The only thing I can critique is that it is quite frustrating at times, but I managed to get to the end in the end :-) The reloading is fast so you immediately can try again and again and again, so I guess it is good to up your skills. :-)

The main character reminds me a bit of Days of the Tentacle. Very cute fellow. I especially like the detail of how he can climb those ledges when he only gets partly on top of the corner.

Thanks a lot for you feedback!

This felt great to play. I love the mechanics. I was just starting to figure out the jumping then teleporting thing. Loads of potential here.

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Is nice to find so original games. Very interesting mechanics and fun puzzles!

Good Job!

Developer

Thanks!

Cool and original mechanic. The art is good. The game is super hard but I kinda like it that way.

Developer

Thanks! I was aiming to make the game difficult :))

Fun game good job!! The spikes were a little annoying lol

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I actually made their hitboxes smaller in 1.1

My only real complaint is a game like this deserves tighter platforming controls. The mechanic was so fun to experiment with I'd often use it even when jumping was CLEARLY the better course of action. I also maybe tried to explore some stages too much, but that just shows the level design was fun. Keep up the good work.

Developer

Thanks! If I will ever expand on this idea I will keep it more of a platforming feature with some rare puzzle parts

A simple mechanic but used so well. The design of the puzzles were very good and actually make you think. The levels were of the right difficulty and I found the mechanic so satisfying that I ended up using it in places where I could have just jumped normally XD.

The difficulty was nigh-on perfect and every level was just so satisfying and fun. The only qualm I have is that you could probably reduce the size of the hitbox on the spikes. They seem a little too big.

Otherwise, I really had no other issues with this game. Amazing entry :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your amazing feedback! Yeah the spike hitboxes are too big, if I knew that you could edit tilemap colliders before I would definetly fix it in this version. For now this is only fixed in 1.1

Overall awesome Game! It's far better than my first jam game! I loved the sounds and music, it really fit the theme! My only problem is that the levels felt a little bit tight (when you have to jump with a roof above you, you loose allot of control), and when doing platforming it's frustrating to  land on a block, only to slide off of it again, and restart the level. Other than those things, I loved it! I think the main mechanic was implemented in a really cool, and most of all intuitive, way! I was never in a situation that I was confused how to use it once I figured it out in the first level. Amazing job!

Amazing feedback! I will publish an 1.1 update on sunday and I will try to focus on the things you said.

Amazing game! Very creative in my opinion.. Definitely see a full game going on with this idea!

Developer

Thanks! I might expand on this idea :))

Amazing game! The only thing I might suggest is that maybe instead of coloring the player black after teleporting, maybe color them white? Because the dark background makes the player hard to track sometimes, especially in the later levels with all of the midair teleports you have to do. Still, other than that minor thing tho(and maybe tone down that 1 spike level (level 7 if I counted correctly) because I died way more times there than the other levels), I think this is a really spectacular game! Stellar work!

Developer

Thanks a lot! 1.1 update will fix all of the balancing issues so far.

This is incredibly well polished and designed. I will say that I found the spikes to be pretty unforgiving at times due to the compact level design, but I really think there is a lot of talent and passion poured into this game. I’d love to know more about how you managed to create such juicy feeling animations and particles in Unity as I have never been great at either. I hope this game gets played more. Seriously fantastic job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I was actually inspired by blackthorn's animation style you should check him out too :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I used to watch a lot of his content about a year or two ago. I’ll have to look into his tutorials on unity animations.

Wow, i've been playing a lot of games for Mix and Game jam 2020 and i can say for sure this is one of the best. Really fun gameplay, cool graphics and nice music. I like the parts with the free camera, i wish there were more levels though. 8/10
