I know, I was so annoyed about that bug. I thought of it at some point but just forgot to do anything about it. I've fixed it now in my own version, it took me all of two minutes :D

And yes, that's a good point, I agree about it being more music based, that's given me a couple of ideas :)
Like, something in the background could go in time with it, or something else that actually affects the gameplay.
for exemple in my game I tried to synchronize laser in the background with the beat, and it's looking cool, you could add something like that!

I don't know, is it bug or not, but I didn't have the sound during the first part. The game idea is... There is just a racing game, unfortunately, I havn't seen any elements of mixed genres. Yeah, there is music, but... Is it all?
Fair criticisms.
The fact that there's no music on the first lap is intentional, but maybe it would've been better if it did have music. The idea is that the parts of the track appear and disappear in time with the music, so it's got a bit of rhythm game-ness in it. Not the strongest mixing of genres but it's what I came up with in the time :)
