OK, after playing quite a bit more of it (I've nearly finished to level 3, not including the tutorial one. You know, the one with the dark matter), I have a couple more things to say.
The system you've made makes for so many unique scenarios, which is really cool, and you've been very creative with the level design, I love that :)
You do have a problem with the music synchronisation, though. Sometimes it's in time, and it's magnificent, but most of the time it drifts out a bit, and it loses that magic, although it doesn't ruin the game for me, I can still get the timing right by looking at the red circle at the bottom, and enjoy the it very much still. That would be the first thing I'd try to fix though, as it'll make the game much more satisfying :)
I had a similar problem with my game, and to fix it, I based all the timing directly on the music, in the code, rather than maing them separately and then trying to make them match. Does the software you're using have any way to get how far through the song you are, because that could help?
Also, when you tell the player about the dark matter, it's not very clear that it's coming up from the bottom, acting like a time limit, so the wording there could do with tweaking. I didn't realise that and just thought it was a bug, on the level after the tutorial, because I didn't notice the text at the start of the level :P So that was annoying :D
Also, I've had a couple of times where I jump while I'm on a platform moving upwards, and I go really high in the air. Just thought I'd let you know about that bug (I assume it's a bug?), if you didn't already know :)
Please understand though that these are just minor things, and all I'm trying to do is help polish an already brilliant game :D
I've been playing it for a few hours now, and I'm still enjoying it :)
Oh, one last thing: how many levels are there? :D I'm just sort of blindly continuing with the game, but I do need to go to bed at some point :P

Such a great game! I can hardly believe you made that much content in 48 hours, and I haven't even finished it yet :D
Music's great, I love the graphics, love the controls and gameplay.
I somehow managed to miss all the instruction text until the grabbing walls bit, so it was very confusing to try and work out the controls. Maybe make the instructions a bit more obvious for idiots like me? :P
Also maybe keep the text on for longer, or perhaps until you actually manage to do the thing they're describing, but I appreciate that's a bit harder :D
Extremely minor gripes though, what a fun game :)
As soon as I discovered the dash thing and what it could do and got the hang of the rhythm, I was loving it even more!

Thank you! :)
I know, I was so annoyed about that bug. I thought of it at some point but just forgot to do anything about it. I've fixed it now in my own version, it took me all of two minutes :D

Yeah, I see what you mean, just played your game, I'll gush about it on your page, but it's so good! :P

Thank you!
And yes, that's a good point, I agree about it being more music based, that's given me a couple of ideas :)
Like, something in the background could go in time with it, or something else that actually affects the gameplay.

Ahh, right, that makes sense, that was another thing I thought about: whether or not I could ever send people itch.io links to it that had the properly working version (which I've now made, by the way, took me all of two minutes :D ). But that's good, thanks :)

Fair criticisms.
The fact that there's no music on the first lap is intentional, but maybe it would've been better if it did have music. The idea is that the parts of the track appear and disappear in time with the music, so it's got a bit of rhythm game-ness in it. Not the strongest mixing of genres but it's what I came up with in the time :)

OK, I see, that's really annoying that I missed that, but ah well :D

No, no, it still works, but the only way to restart the game properly is to close and open it again, because I forgot to add a line of code which resets the map...

I noticed a huge bug in my game, which is super easy to fix, but the deadline's passed now. I'm assuming you can't change your game at all after the deadline, but I thought I may as well ask. Is there any way this could be fixed?
