Really enjoyed this! Music was pretty boppin’ but the gameplay was pretty hard to master for me. Though my thinking on the spot is pretty bad so that’s just me hah!

Developer

Thank you, i'm glad you liked the music !

This is a really cool project! If you give users the ability to upload music and create their own levels I could totally see this getting really popular!

Developer

This would be really hard to implement, but if I find a way to do it, I'll do. Thank you !

Awesome concept! very satisfying when you get rolling and combo a few of the beats right. Might need some improvement on signaling the right time to act (I'm not sure if I should react right when the circles are on the player or before that). Otherwise, I like both the concept and the implementation.

Developer

This is indeed a needed improvement ! Thanks for the feedback !

First of all, fantastic name! Second of all, fantastic game! I really enjoyed this, brilliant execution of a rhythm based shoot'em up. The music was great, and the simple artstyle fit really well. Great work!

Thank you so much !

One of the most enjoyable game I have played in the Jam. I see some Undertale inspiration here. I really like the gameplay. It sync perfectly with music. The music itself is great and the rhythm is palpable. One thing though is that i felt a little overwhelmed by the mechanics. There were too many of them. Overall amazing work, keep it up :)

if you have a minute please check my game too:)

Thank you so much I'm glad you enjoyed it that much !

I indeed took the color code of undertale because doing differently would have been a bit confusing to the one who already played Undertale. There is indeed a lot of mechanic but I didn't have the time to introduce them all progressively, and having less would have feel not enough for me.

Thank you once again for all the compliments !

I really like the music as well as the sound effects, too bad there's only two levels, the idea of a rhythm game and top down shooter works well but I sometimes panic XD, the art might need some work as it's only square and circles, but the particles are fine since I can guess where the enemies are, you could use something like post processing to compensate for the lack of art, a pause menu would also be good since I accidently click the restart button, so yeah need improvement is art, more music and a feature to create you own music.

Good job I enjoy that :D

Developer

This is a long sentence xD But yeah, there are things to add.

I'm not sure how to implement a custom track creation system, and I like this minimalistic artstyle, but adding post-processing is a good idea !

This had probably my favorite music in the jam so far! The gameplay was great and the feedback on missed notes was well done. Great game overall :)

Developer

That's so nice, thank you so much !

Very nice game! I love the concept and the gameplay, but consider adding a tutorial. The music is nice, the art is simple, yet very fitting. Overall, a nice game! Keep it up!

Developer

Thank you very much ! But how could I add a tutorial considering there is already one ?

Really cool game. It took me a couple of tries to get used to the controls but it works really well!

Developer

Thank you very much !

Wow, this may be my favorite rhythm game of the Jam so far!

Is it weird to say I just sort of stared at the intro page for awhile?

Timing is pretty perfect. Tutorial was great. It was definitely a bit overwhelming at times, but it sort of should be.

Literally my only complaint would be different difficulty levels, but thats SO impossible during a Jam its almost ridiculous to bring it up.

Add some more songs, more 'juice', and a leader board and you got something real special here!  Wasn't the greatest performance but below is my Threat Incoming score!

Thank you so much for all the compliments !

This game definitively require more things, but 48 hours is indeed really short. Nice score by the way !

And yeah, this menu screen is quite hypnotizing... x)

Very smooth controls and it feels natural to move in time to the beat. I do think that the game would benefit from a failure state though, feels wrong that the enemies can reach you and and there are no real consequences. That said, very cool game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much !

This is a jam project, and I didn't want to make a too difficult game, so I just give score penalty instead of failure states. I think it's better than forcing players to play the whole song all over again.

I might change this in future versions.

This was so well synced and a lot of fun. Great job.

Developer(+1)

I spend so much time on the sync, I'm glad you liked it ! Thank you very much !
