Straightforward, but decently executed and fun. I struggled to pick up passengers at first because I couldn't drive slowly to make tighter turns, but I eventually realized that driving in reverse helped adjust more precisely. It also took me a few attempts to figure out reasonable paths to different locations, in particular the small wooden bridge is very easy to miss and the larger bridge requires a path that's not obvious to go around barriers.
Firstly that was a massive map and I loved some of the detail in it, nice job. Secondly those were some really polite passengers which definitely added a wonderful level of polish and a sense of accomplishment after delivering someone. My one note would be slow the car down a bit on roads, it was very difficult to steer. Overall really good game and nice job :)
The car was a little hard to steer at high speeds but the idea and look of the game are great. When I looked at the assets given definitely didn't expected to see any driving games ahaha Well done! :)
Thank you!
At the beginning i had problems with the controls. On my second try i was better but it could have been better. Maybe more steering speed or wider streets would be good. Also i had no clue what to do. A text massage at the start make things clearer. Overall funny little game. Well done! :)
Thanks for the feedback!
Fun little game, enjoyed driving around the town. Struggled to find many people to pick up though, only managed 2. Is there a central spot that they mostly congregate?
I disagree with the arcade style driving comment below though, I like the controls the way they are.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
The passengers spawn randomly around town, but you will almost always find someone next to the train station or the park.
Neat crazy taxi! Didn't expect you to be here. A surprise, but a welcome one.
Driving felt a little difficult (I played with keyboard, maybe it's different on controller). Perhaps you should switch to an arcade driving style, where you dictate the direction the car should move instead of actually steering?
World was nice, but I didn't play enough to learn the whole layout. What's the total size?
Thanks for the comments!
I agree the controls could be improved, it turned out a bit trickier than I expected.
The world is 200x100 tiles, and I wish I had more time to work on it.
