That was a fun game.

It was fairly polished. I saw the gnome and said 'oh he's coming with me' and I love that you accounted for that!

Developer

Ah always so happy when someone finds out those features. Thank you for playing Health Potion Studios!

Love it! Reminded me of steamworld dig or spelunky, and it's highly polished. The ghost mechanic is very cool! It's a bit hard for me, I never find the green key. But I still had a lot of fun :D this game deserves more ratings!

Developer

Yeah map and item placement is all randomly generated, so the key might have placed on the very corner-bottom of map..! Thanks Croxel Studios!

Fun. I love digging games. I think you should try to speed up the character movement. Perhaps swap jumping for a jetpack or grappling hook or robotic arm.

Grappling hook with limited jump would be nice mechanic. I'll save that idea for next jam lol. Thanks puzzud!

Clever idea with a few rough edges.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback HeySweet! Yeah its pretty messy hehe

Very fun game! I think the visuals and sound were just just amazing, and super polished. I just think that it would be nice to dig while wall sliding. Great job!

Developer

Thank you gubebra! Actually there was dig-while-wall-sliding feature..! but I decided not to include it because I thought it makes game kind of too easy. Thanks anyway for your nice feedback!

Very visually appealing, love the title screen especially. I would've really appreciated a tutorial - I sat at the start hitting buttons randomly for a bit, found gnomey but a green ghost knocked him and me out of the way immediately so I had to work a bit for the controls!

Developer

Thanks cornfab! There's a road sign-ish thing when you start a game(which tells you basic controls and tips), just in case you missed it!

Cool game and I enjoyed the sound effects and ambient music was good choice! Was visually appealing as well. Feedback I would have is, it isn't clear what throwing gold does at first. I tried throwing it at enemies. Also, for me, pressing space bar did something weird. It made me teleport and little bit and a bunch of things spawned? I don't know if that was intentional. Maybe it is respawning the map?

Developer(+1)

Wow thank you for such detailed feedback!

Throwing gold works like throwing rocks in Spellunky. And yes I will definatley add some description for usage of coin throwing!

Space or Enter was for map regeneration, to check evrything generates perfectly during developing. I just forgot to erase that function hehe😅.

I will update the game ASAP. Thanks again!
