Very cool! I love how you can use the skulls as armor, and also as shields if you put them between an enemy and you.
Nice smooth gameplay! I'd add some more variety as the levels progress and/or powerups but it was engaging as is - made it to wave 13!

Having only one life is quite tough for a game like this, but using the skull as armor after shooting it is a really genius mechanic. I liked that i could fly around at will jumping through the air, but utilized it way too little as it seemed to be safest on the bottom layer. Maybe some environmental hazards, like the lava rising once in a while (of course with warnings), could be great to keep players on their feet. Well done though
Thanks! I wanted to add spikes to the platforms at higher waves, but decided against it as the deadline loomed.

if you need feedback, i feel like having moving map instead of fixed would incitate the player to move more^^ (just my opinion though)
Also adding music always make the game better easily^^

I loved the effect when hitting the skulls....also was wearing the skull intentional? *tried to post a pic but it kept failling lol* The lava looked great too!

Really, really fun! I like the fact that I could jump while in the air, felt like I was flying around destroying enemies. Really creative use of the skull to make those enemies, I really liked it!
I do wish I fell a bit faster, having quick snappy controls feels important in this kind of survival game. Also only having one hit was really punishing, if I had a health bar and some kind of health pickups or healing, I could see myself playing for a long, long time trying to get really far.

Thanks! You're far too kind. The game was a blast to make. I originally omitted the ability to fall faster as I thought it would make the game more challenging, but in hindsight it probably makes the game more frustrating.
Did you try picking up a skull? I realized how difficult the game was and added an element to make the player more survivable before I submitted the game.
This is a very fun and enjoyable little shooter game. I love the aesthetic that you have for this game and how you combined both the skull and fire sprites together. I think this game could use a title screen instead of jumping right into the gameplay and the movement feels a bit slow but I think you did a really great job on making something that's engaging and very colorful!
