  • The timer feels too restrictive at least for the first level. I was very confused at first and restarting every ten or so seconds didn’t help. The fish moves a tad too fast in my opinion making him somewhat difficult to control. The game itself is solid and the idea is nice. Also the art is incredibly inconsistent so I would try making your own art or at least using asset packs of similar styles.

This is a good idea and I think you've got the beginnings of something really cool here! I like the physics of the barrel and navigating the level with it to the chest. It took me a second to get the idea, but once I did I was able to play the other levels. Congratulations on finishing your first game! It's SO much work but super rewarding! You should be proud :) Keep it up, either with this game or a new one!

Very nice sprites and a fun little tune! I would like if the game was a little more forgiving, as the controls are a bit difficult to get a good feeling for and only having a few seconds to learn them even in early levels seems a bit hard. Also, I had a bit of trouble figuring out what I was even supposed to do in the first place; adding a tutorial or choosing a different coding (replacing the barrel with a key, for example) could help with that, I think.

Other than that, a very promising start. Would love to see this being continued and polished a bit more.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback!  This is actually the first game I "finished" so I welcome the pointers.
