The controls feel weird. I couldn't get very far at all not even being able to finish the tutorial section. This is probably just a skill issue, however. The step like blocks at the start are hard for two reasons, the jump mechanic and its ability to control jump power, as well as the moving velocity system. You are moving too slow and often don't jump high enough making them hard to get over, and when I do the player bugs out for a few seconds before I can move again.  But enough complaining about my issues with the game, it looks pretty good, and I can't say much on sound it wasn't bad, but there wasn't much there. It fit the theme pretty well though

The game is no that difficult, but certain aspects make it so it is. The monke moves a little sluggishly, mostly because it seems to accelerate instead of having a fixed movement speed. The way the levels are made don't work really well the size of the monke since they get stuck on everything with ease.
Kind of wonder why LShift instead of W, since Space Bar is used for jumping, maybe even E would work easier, but that's fine.

I kept getting confused with Shift being used to jump off the vines instead of space ๐Ÿ˜…

Several leaps of faith and not being able to put a swing on the vines really limits this (if you could I did not figure out how), but other than that its alright, due to the way the climbing mechanic worked it was crucial for some jumps to position yourself just right otherwise you would not make it.

Interesting how many Jump King inspired games there are in this game jam (I mean mine's, too). I like the climbing mechanic a lot, adds something new to this

I think I hit about 800 before I gave up. Really solid game. But also really frustrating because you JUST WANT TO BEAT IT!! I love it ๐Ÿ’–

Man, this was kinda brutal. I did end up finishing though, then I played again to beat my time. (Played with checkpoints btw)
