Updates after submission?

Is it okay to update the game (eg. polish it a bit, make it a bit harder or streamlined) during the rating period? Would this be considered cheating as the games are to be rated and it's already way past submission?

For this jam I'm allowing bug squashing, uploading new builds, and a little bit of polish (i.e. not new features, just things like fine-tuning difficulty etc.) :)

Thank you so much for this! My old build was so unoptimized that it wouldn't run well on lower-end machines.

Glad we get to have more people able to play it!

Good to know, it bugged me our game didn't run well on lower end machines and laptops; for simple graphics and quality. As well as forgetting to add the option to view the games instructions/controls (forgetting to tick an 'enabled' checkbox).

Oh snap! Really?

Runs off to call in sick.
