I just stumbled upon this jam, and this submission stood out to me, I really loved this. The boss was easier than I was making it for myself, but I understood it eventually.

Amazing! Everything fitted together super well thematically, really enjoyed it! Minor thing would be to show the controls at the beginning rather than have it as a separate item in the menu.  Also the character movement and attacks felt a little clunky. 

Overall, Loved it :)

The visuals, music and sounds are awesome! I liked that combination of Game Boyaspect with a metal atmosphere. And whil the game is pretty basic, it remains quite fun. Well done!

Welp, this was done in an epically classic style.  I've always wanted to be a metal imp.  And you did that for me!  Thank you.  I thought it was well balanced and the music was solid.  I dunno, maybe like, the attacks could be more musical?  I dunno

The soundtrack, as everybody says, is amazing! It's incredible how you can pull off a proper game with a slick intro, gameplay, final boss and a great winning animation. Mine didnt even have a boss fight haha *sigh*. Anyhow, I think the game is simple and easy to play for anyone, and it showcases you best as in the graphics category. The animations different enemies are awesome, I even felt the character animations are too boring compared to the enemies'. What the game lacks I think is the distinction to other platformers, but given the scope of the jam, there isnt much that could add to this. Off the top of my head I would say the movement of the character could use some work as it's a bit stiff, jumping animation (I know you can do it, look at the enemies). Now I'll stop nitpicking and congrats you on pulling of a very solid entry. Very well done!!
