Lovely little game! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum dare 42 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :)
Awwwesomee :D
Hey! I just wanted to let you know that a video of one of my playthrough/reviews is up and you're a part of it!
Take a look here:
Just watched it heheh :D you're claiming to be "rhythmically challenged" but i've seen much much worse!! thanks again for the feedback/rating
This was a nice experience. I found it pretty hard because I'm rhythmically challenged but it was very nice. I think you could add some sort of mechanic outside of this free play mode, that would be cool. Maybe something to teach you basic beats or melody/harmony stuff would be really cool.
Overall, a pleasant, relaxing experience!
Great job!
Hello ! thanks for the feedback, The thing is it shouldn't be so hard because It's made in one scale , you can just play the melody side going up or down from Z to E and matching that with the backing drum track! That would be a good way to start practicing being in rhythm without worrying about ur right hand and arrow keys !
AND YES whenever i have time i will definitely work on this adding different types of game modes and whatever I could think of (or gets thrown at me as idea :D)
I love this! Just playing with an instrument feels wonderful. And the backing track is really nice, making it very pleasant to jam with it. I also like the simplicity of the visuals. Overall it's a very relaxing game. Well done!
Glad you enjoyed it! Im very happy to hear this feedback :D :D will check out your submission here in a bit & rate it as well!
Though technically not a game, it's a pleasant experience. Easy to get the hang of making nice melodies and beats, and relaxing to play. The addition of a backing track with adjustable volume is a nice touch. Both the visuals and audio have a dreamlike vibe, and it's nicely polished. Good job!
thank youuu for the kind words!!!!!
