Hey, it's been a week of jam and my game is starting to take shape, so I'm finally posting the link here :

https://k2aris.itch.io/capsule-survivor

Since this is my first game ever I'm pretty happy with what I have so far ! Also as I have more free time this week I'll be able to implement more content into the game.

I'll be happy to read any feedback and suggestions !

Also making this game made me realize how difficult it can be to balance games, I'm already struggling to balance the only two spells in my game lol.

Fun little game! I would say maybe lower the health on the enemies but up the number of them? It's more satisfying to take out lots of enemies rather than end up wailing on a few enemies over and over waiting for them to die :)

Balancing is a dread BUT look at games in the same genera, a lot of the time the fun comes from unbalanced stuff, in Roguelikes that random unbalanced nature is good fun! I love that one run of Binding of Issac I can be a god, the next I can be total crap haha.

Keep up the good work! :)

I tried out to reduce by a third the health of the enemies and slightly increasing their number and wow it's way more enjoyable to complete the waves! What an advice, thank you so much ! I'll upload the new build tomorrow, when I'm done with making a proper environment

Funny how taking 20 seconds to change 2 variables made the game a lot more enjoyable than working a whole afternoon implementing a UI system and a new spell...

Ah I'm glad it helped! :D Game Feel is super important. It's why people working on games like CoD spend years after tweaking tiny numbers in the multiplayer to get the Time To Kill just right so it feels good :) Can't wait to see the next build though! And remember, nothing wrong with an unbalanced power fantasy if done right :D

it love a rpg with a rouge-like.  i kill the enemy, i chose  the skill,  advance in  the vague the arena and is enough ! thank you

Thank you :) Right now it isn't a proper rogue-like because it lacks procedural elements and randomness... But it's coming !

New build out, I'm pretty happy with the progress ! I struggled a lot with the 3D environment thought. It's definitly harder than I anticipated to come up with a credible scene and to shape the level, even with an asset pack... Tomorrow I'll finally focus on making a ranged type of enemy

Final submission's build is out !
