"Nope, it's mine now." I read that too many times LOL I love that line. I adored how this was mainly a tale about growth and I had a few good laughs at some of the dialogue/monologue options. It took me a bit of time to learn to do some of the stuff one had to do but otherwise it was a pleasant adventure and I'm glad it ended how it did. And also!! The art is gorgeous, ,great job on that!!

I loved it! The story is fun, charming and just generally well written, I especially love your cell mate's dialogue, I might come back once in awhile in the future to check in on him.

I really dig the art and sounds, it has Maniac Mansion on NES vibes. I'm all about it!

As others have noted, the inventory UI toggle is broken currently and unfortunately , I got stuck trying to figure out the wine dilemma and did not finish, but really want to!

Overall really great work everyone! The production value is high with this one.

Thank you for the high praise!

If you got stuck, I recommend making sure you've had every possible dialog with the cook. That should help you progress, as it unlocks other things.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah I clicked everywhere but one place, but I finished! Fun ending!

How nice! It feels like a modernized version of a classic Sierra adventure game :).  The graphics are very detailed, with little details like the ripped jeans, and the animations where very fluid and well done. The story is a bit silly, maybe, but i think it works very well nonetheless, and i enjoyed the characters in it.

There seems to be a bug in the inventory: most of the times, when i click the chest icon i can hear the sound of it opening, but i have to click it again for it to appear.

At the end the music felt a bit repetitive, though, and having voice over only for the narration, i believe, makes me notice the lack of voice over on the rest of the dialogues.  It seems that for me is all or nothing… :).  But, of course, we all know what time constraints you had in a jam, so do not take this criticism too harshly, please.

I look forwards to play more games from you in the future!

Yeah, there were a few little glitchy things, like the inventory that I was working on the day before the deadline, but I couldn't get all of the kinks out in time.

Anyway, thank you for the feedback!

I really want to play this but the mouse will not let me click play. Hopefully this gets fixed so I can rate!

Make sure your browser is not zoomed past 100%. This has been an issue for a few people. If your browser is set to 100% it should work just fine. Let me know if that works for you!

Ok, I was able to play it and wow. I really loved everything about this game. The gameplay was fun, the graphics were cute and detailed, and the story was very relatable. I liked the lightheartedness of the dialogue especially. Incredible work!
