fun concept for a mobile game. Playing it in landscape on a pc makes it a bit too hard to recognize the colors + click the colors. Adding in keyboard input would make it a lot more UX friendly

^I agree with other comments about the colors being difficult to recognize. I am a color blind individual and I can say right off the bat that the colors 3 4 5 6 are all likely to be mixed up by someone with worse ability than me

Thank you for the review, I actually am planning to make it into a mobile game and change the colors. And your comment is very helpful because I forgot that there are colorblind people and I'll definitely make option to change colors for you guys :) The colors I chose were from the pallet, I just wanted to include them, but I've realized that sometimes additional requirements can actually make the game worse so I'll keep that in mind for future game jams :)

A very interesting idea! Very well executed, but some colors were hard to distinguish, so as an improvement I would suggest to stick to more distinguishable colors.

I had to start again as I did not have the time to understand at first, but then it got pretty obvious what the goal was ^^ I found it hard to stay alive for more than 15 sec but to be honest I suck at rapidity games >< Nice one!

Thank you for playing ! My problem was that I based the game on my skill and I should have let people test it out, but as this was my first game jam I kind of skipped that part as I had less free time than I thought I would. Will keep all of the reviews in mind for my next game jams, thank you!

It is a very nice game, quite original. I feel like it would benefit from a bit smoother transition to high difficulty, but very fun anyways. It could probably be scaled up into a very nice mobile game!

Thanks for the review, I agree about transition, I just wanted to let the players know sooner that there are rockets with more than two colors as I believe that on average game jam games are played only for like a minute before people go to the next game.

Wow, this game is really fun! It took me a couple tries, but I started to understand the mechanics of the multiple bullets and how to destroy the rockets. For me, I love games that allow me to find the answers on my own but I feel that you could've put in a small "How to play" on your splash page for others who might be struggling.

In terms of other feedback, I would say to indicate the line where rockets will end up exploding on the screen. The line didn't seem to be as low as I would've though the first time around and it's hard to tell which rocket to destroy first because I can't visually see which is the closest when there is eventually too many rockets on screen. As a player, I need that information.

For your first game jam, this is an amazing start. Love the mechanic and how intuitive it is.  Keep it up!

Thank you very much for playing and reviewing, I agree with everything you've said, my biggest issue was that I had only 3 days to make the game and by the end of 3rd day I was drained so I tried to kind of finish the project sooner :)

Interesting idea and cool sounds!

I found a little hard to distinguish some colours from one to another quickly (especially pink and orange) and I didn't quite understand why you can prepare up to 4 colours instead of just 2.

That being said, that's your first game in just 1 week, really nice job!

Developer

Thanks for the review! I chose those colors because I didn't want the game to be too easy and there are 4 bullets because after destroying 10 rockets you start getting some rockets that are made of 3 colors and after destroying 20 rockets you start getting some rockets that are made of 4 colors.

Oooooh ok that makes sense! I'm pretty bad at this game ahah
