- Oh, very cute! I loved the concept, though I feel like it was more a match and shoot than about building connections with the mechanics, but I do see how the theme came in and I think it worked out. I love how it's both an action/aim-based game but also tests your memory. The art is very cute, and I loved how expansive the map felt, though I would have liked more variety in scenery. I also wish there was a way to regain hearts, because sometimes I'd die close to the end and having no way to heal made it feel a bit unrewarding. I loved the enemy designs. Very nice, very fun, definitely replayable, perhaps more so with randomly generated levels?

Really cool game, and great use of the theme.
Very nice game, good art for sure! Tho the sounds doesn't fit well they sounds a bit of! Difficulty progress is very good!
Ye unfortunately we had little time to do the sounds, I'm sorry for that.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Very creative use in theme! I think the scaling of the difficulty was done correctly. Many games concepts are hard to get at the beginning but this did a great job with its pacing!
Fortunately I managed to do a decent difficulty curve in time, I was worried about it. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much!
Yoo I liked this a lot!
The shooting felt great tbh, I found it satisfying enough to keep playing for 20 mins or so
I think some kind of enemy that needs to be linked three times might be a good addition, but overall I liked the overall variety of enemies for the short time you had.
The 6th wave is hard btw, still have to complete it lol
Anyway, great job! If you have time maybe check out our game too :D
Thank you so much! Too kind! Thanks for the suggestion too!
I will for sure check your game, thanks again!
the movement felt good, as did the combat. the sounds fit nicely. overall this is very well executed. I felt like the cannons hit me even when i was standing outside of the circle which led to a couple of runs ending earlier than i would have liked, especially when i was trying to dodge lots of projectiles at the same time. But it could just be me not being very good. Otherwise, this is a very fun and complete feeling game. Great Job!
The problem with the cannons is that the hitbox is exactly the ellipse that you see on the ground, which means that if you stand outside the circle with your feet you can still be hit on the top of your head (I don't know if I explained it clearly, probably not ahah). I aknowledge the problem, it can be really unfair. I'll try to fix it in the future.
Thank you so much for you feedback and kind words!
Not that it matters becuase the games great without it, but perhaps an easy "fix" is to have 2 hitboxs with different visibility layers, one for projectiles that is essentially what you have now and one for aoe's that is just the lower body. it might also be useful for doing other fancy attack paterns down the line.
Wow thanks for the tip! I really do appreciate it!
This was a super fun concept and I think it was executed really well! The movement and shooting felt really nice and intuitive, and I liked the element of strategy when it came to matching instead of traditional shooters with these kinds of controls. The difficulty was good as well, posed quite a challenge without ever being too frustrating. Great job!
I feel like the last wave may be tuned down a little bit.
Thank you so much for the feedback and the kind words!
Soooo well done, can't believe it was made in such a short amount of time, props to the team!
Thanks for the kind words! Thanks for the feedback!
Amazing concept loved the game it was well polished
Thank you so much! I appreciate it a lot!!!
Love the art style (very impressive for the time we got!) and the idea, would have loved it if "matching" the wrong monsters would make them angry and move faster, or make it more difficult for the player. The shooting sound sounds like it was made by mouth, was wondering if that's the case :D
Thanks a lot for the review!
The idea of the wrong match is really cool! Could be a very interesting addition. Thanks for the advice!
Sound effects were all made by mouth, unfortunately I managed the time poorly.
Thanks again!
