  • Good job completing the jam! Some things to consider: - Love the concept you guys have going here! The narrative is great, but I'm wondering if there is any other way you can tie in the "adventurer" to "plumber" story. Maybe look at some dialogue blurbs or and environmental storytelling to really tie your narrative together. - You have some massive areas on your map where nothing is happening. If you're going to have such large areas, introduce some mobs or some interactable items to draw the player's attention. The biggest pit fall of a large map is not having anything in it. - I would suggest increasing the speed of your items. You have some very long paths where you push statues on top of panels, and the speed of the interaction really slows down the gameplay. You can increase the speed while still only pushing it a certain distance if you want players to hit objects more than once. Overall, you have a pretty solid game here. Good work team!

cute art + theme. The hitting statue sound effect blows out my speakers. Moving the statues takes too long and the gates are hard to distinguish

My artist regrets not doing a Binding of Issac/ Zelda style of tile art I'm sure. While his art is great, better than mine, he still has not made tilesets before. I'm sure next time will be amazing.

This game is nice. The pixel art is great and the gameplay is simple. Would love to see the finished game with the rest of the map that was planned.

I agree with the other comments on the statues taking a while to move and the sound clip for hitting one did seem a bit loud compared to everything else. I know you have an option to adjust it in the settings, but maybe you could set the default value of the SFX lower.

I loved the game, love the art and gameplay and idea haha! Tho the pushing the statues was bit annoying to keep pressing space, and the rooms where a bit empty some decoration would be beautifull! Good game!

Smooth and fast-paced, great level design and art. Good job overall!

I played the browser version, for me the game ends at this screen https://imgur.com/a/vGLxaSQ . I'm a bit confused whether that's a bug and there supposed to be more, since the music changes but the visuals stay the same, and there's no endgame screen.

Here is a Link to our planned whole map that never got finished.
