I really liked this one! It has a great presentation, both in the graphics an audio departments, and it's really fun to play.
Being able to choose the different paths right from the starts is a great way to let players complete the game in the order they wish and make each playthrogh different from the last.
Having a timer also helps to give the game some replay value.

The platforming can be a little unforgiving at moments, but with infinite lives and just a little patience anyone should be able to make it to the end. The humorous and creative different ways the character dies serve as the perfect reward for any frustration the player endures. Great game!

Great music and and gameplay! Others have already mentioned the lack of coyote time, so I'll say a leaderboard for times would have kept me playing longer, managed to get just under 2 minutes, but would love to see how other did and try to beat their times. Great work!

Yes I feel like I probably would have tried to implement some kind of leaderboard if I'd been able to utilize the second week of the jam but alas. It would have made it much more interesting! Thanks for playing and for your feedback!

I really liked the games art stile + music! It gave the game a cool vibe which also got recreated by the fast gameplay and jump animation. Sadly, I am not a good jump and run player and was not able to get to all buttons!

Maybe I will revisit the game later and try beating it.
Overall, good job!

Developer

Thank you! I admit the platforming is rather unforgiving, so sorry you couldn't get to the end

finished in 5:13 on the browser version. A nice little game.

As it has been said some easier control could be great, but the game is still enjoyable. Music is a bit loud in comparison of sound effects to my ears and a volume option would have been great.

Overall, a nice game, the fact that each death has his own sound design and animation is really appealing. Nice one.

Developer

Ah yes volume control would have been great. I found when I went back to play it the volume for things was a bit all over since I rushed it. I could have EQd it much better.

I really appreciate the feedback and the time you took to play! Thank you so much

The platforming is really unforgiving, spent 5 minutes getting across the platforms to the right just to get shot in the face lol.

But there is a lot of cool ideas here, the metal aesthetic is fantastic. The directional roll on the jump is awesome and felt great!

Developer

Yeah it is. Like someone else said, coyote time would have made it more fair to the player and less frustrating haha.
Im glad you enjoyed something about it though! Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

The jump felt a little unresponsive at times, could use a little bit of coyote time

yeah the webgl version is a bit laggy so the jumps are harder to time. Sadly i ran out of time to develop otherwise i would have implemented coyote time. Definitely something ill add in as an improvement once the jam is over!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

I would have loved to polish this up some more, but a planned vacation got in the way :(

Hope it's fun!
